This project, the result of a cooperation started in 2016, highlights the different species of Gardenia found in French Polynesia. An educational and scientific project, this conservatory aims to better understand the properties and origins of this emblematic flower of Tahiti and its islands. The Tiare Tahiti (Gardenia taitensis) is used in the composition of Monoi de Tahiti, but is also the most used plant in the Polynesian pharmacopoeia.
